The Pan-African Paediatric Surgical Association (PAPSA)
is an organization with the following aims:

i) to promote the practice, education, research and the advancement of surgery in Africa;
ii) to promote and maintain high clinical and ethical standards in pediatric surgical practice;
iii) to foster the development of paediatric surgery in Africa;
iv) to evaluate and foster goal-directed research; and
v) to hold general scientific meetings.
